The worse, most frustrating experience ever!

I called the number in their flyer and scheduled n appointment. The salesman came to my house shortly after and showed me his product.

I had checked reviews before I made the call. They looked good on-line. I have an 18ft. gutter on my Four Season Sunroom.

The salesman quoted me a total cost of $829.00 including labor, tax, and a military discount. I thought it was high for 3ea. 4/12ft lengths , and one 33in. section of plastic and stainless screen.

I decided to make the purchase, due to the fact that, on Nov. 1st I climbed on he metal roof to clean the leaves out of the gutter. When I was done, I put one foot on the ladder to climb down. The ladder got away from me and I fell to the ground, breaking my back, my neck and three ribs.

I guess I justified paying the $829.00 to prevent another injury, or worse. The salesman made out the paperwork, I gave him a check. He scheduled the install and then told me " what I would do, is lower the gutter and then install the filters. The installer showed up on Nov.

7th 2020, installed the filters and told me " I did not power the gutter, the pitch of the gutter is fine. I live in Auburn, Maine. Our first snow event was Dec. 8th.

I could not remove all the snow on the edge of the roof because the filters were above the level of the roof. I called the Salesman and told him I wanted the filters removed before the next storm, Dec 17th. He agreed to take them off the Monday Dec 14th but never showed. I had my carpenter remove the filters and called the salesperson and asked him to pick up the filters and refund my $829.00.

He said " you voided your warranty so we cannot give you a refund. Just recently contacted the BBC in Akron, Ohio, and today I received an answer from LeafFilters in Ohio stating " Cusomr voided warranty and contract by having third party remove product.

LeafFilte r considers this later closed". So in closing I would say that it is evident that LeafFilter and some of their employees do not do what they say they will do!

User's recommendation: I am sure there are other companies out there selling the similar product that actually offer and give, much,much better customer service than LeafFilter North LLC!

Monetary Loss: $829.

Preferred solution: Full refund.
